Oregon's Community Wildfire Risk Reduction Unit was formed by landmark legislation following the devastating 2020 fire season. Policymakers and stakeholders tasked the Oregon State Fire Marshal with developing a community risk reduction unit focused on reducing the impact of wildfires on Oregonians. Come for the inside scoop, and leave with your own framework on what it will take for you to do the same in your state.
