Sheena Glover embodies a rare trifecta of public service roles: Fire Captain, Paramedic, and Law Enforcement Officer, establishing her as a standout figure in emergency services. As the only Black female and the fourth woman in her organization's history, she has trailblazed a path in a traditionally male-dominated field. Originally from Omaha, Nebraska, Sheena earned a Bachelor of Science in Emergency Medical Services from Creighton University and an Associate's degree in Fire Science. She successfully completed the National Fire Academy's Managing Officer's Program and is currently pursuing a Master’s in Organizational Leadership at Columbia Southern University. Deeply engaged in community service and diversity initiatives in Omaha, Sheena co-founded "Stones of Hope," a nonprofit dedicated to providing holistic support for trauma healing. Prior to her promotion, Sheena served as a Community Risk Reduction Specialist, where she leveraged her expertise to drive initiatives aimed at reducing risks and enhancing safety. Her commitment to inclusivity led her to spearhead "Fire Away," a program that promotes inclusiveness and supports underrepresented groups within the emergency services field.

Her innovative contributions have been recognized with several awards, including a $10,000 prize for her "Close Before You Doze" campaign and a Leadership Award from the Nebraska Association of Women Police.
