Dolores (D.C.) Ernst joined the City of Phoenix, Fire Department's Community Assistance Program (CAP) in 2006 as the Training Specialist. In 2017 she was promoted to the Casework Services Coordinator and in 2021 was promoted to the Deputy Director position. In FY21/22, CAP received $15 million to expand the co-response units, Crisis Response Units to ten (10) units and create nine (9) Behavioral Health Units which act as singular and co-response units. Mrs. Ernst also services as the chair for the Maricopa Association of Governments Domestic Violence Council, is a member of the Maricopa County Department of Public Health Suicide Mortality Review Board Subcommittee and is a member of the City of Phoenix Domestic Violence Fatality Review Team. She holds a bachelor’s and master’s degree in Social Work from Arizona State University. Mrs. Ernst is a Licensed Master of Social Work (LMSW) with the State of Arizona.
