My name is Doreen Groth and I am the GIS Manager at the City of Rochester Hills. I have a Master’s degree in Geography and serve as a Board of Directors member for IMAGIN, Michigan’s GIS professional organization. Throughout my career I have used my passion for spatial analysis and data science to provide governments, at all levels, the information they need to make data driven decisions. My work is featured in several professional publications. In 2022 my team was recognized with the Esri Special Achievement in GIS (SAG) Award. I enjoy helping subject matter experts come together in order to gain a common understanding of a problem's complexity. I believe that bringing people, technology and data together unlocks the potential of all three.
